Hastings Street is set to become even more fun and colourful this evening (Friday 15 July) with more than 300 street performers in costumes and feathers strutting along the road for the spectacular free Opening Carnivale Infusion Parade, kicking off the 15th annual Noosa Long Weekend Festival.
Noosa Food & Wine 2016 brought about 10,000 people to Noosa to sip and savour their way through more than 40 events on Noosa’s Main Beach, along Hastings Street, by the Noosa River, in restaurants and markets, and through the hinterland.
Mountain bike trails snake their way up and down hill through Tewantin National Park, just 10km west of Noosa Heads, and it’s a fun – and unexpected – experience that’s so close to the water activity that Noosa is usually known for.
