1. LUKE KENNEDY - HIS VOICE
NOOSA alive! opening night is an unmissable live experience for fans of brilliant music and power vocals. Accompanied by seven of Australia’s finest musicians Luke Kennedy slides effortlessly through musical styles as he takes you from pub rocker to the Ten Tenors and grand finalist on The Voice.

2. QUEENSLAND BALLET
Queensland Ballet presents a superb program of classical, contemporary and neo-classical ballet in The J Theatre’s intimate setting. Also hear Queensland Ballet artistic director Li Cunxin in-conversation.

3. FIRE IN THE SKY
The skies above Noosa will come alive for Fire in the Sky on Saturday 22 July with an afternoon of free fun, live music and a spectacular fireworks display on the Noosa River foreshore, Lions Park, Gympie Tce, Noosaville.
Singer-songwriter Will Anderson performs, see the NOOSA alive! dancers on stage, a Waterways Spectacular created by Leah Barclay, and performances on stage
throughout the afternoon. Bring a picnic to share with friends and family and enjoy the best Noosa has to offer. Fire in the Sky starts at 3pm, with fireworks at 6pm.
4. THE MARRIAGE OF FIGARO BY OPERA AUSTRALIA
A festival highlight and a ‘must’ for serious music lovers, Opera Australia brings Mozart’s brilliant opera, The Marriage Of Figaro, to Noosa for one performance only … It’s the Downton Abbey of opera but a lot more fun!
With stunning costumes, a fabulous set and a chorus of local school kids accompanying some of Australia’s finest singers, if you’ve never been to the opera,
this is the perfect introduction.

5. ROCOCO BEACH CLUB MARQUEE
With a dynamic Latin beach club atmosphere, the Rococo Beach Club Marquee is four full days of cabaret, dinner and shows, beach parties, Broadway on the Beach, Miss Hummingbird at The Ultimate Ladies Lunch, Flamenco Fire, Flying Down to Rio Rococobana Beach Party and Salsa by the Sea – all right on Noosa’s Main Beach, overlooking beautiful Laguna Bay and Noosa National Park from Thursday 28 to Sunday 31 July. RAGTIME, A BOOGIE WOOGIE BRUNCH: Jan Preston, the Queen of Boogie Woogie shares the arena with Wil Sargisson (The Finger Breaker), Andrew Farrell (The Wizard) and The Andrew Sisters Tribute with three pianos played simultaneously in a roaring tribute to the sounds of boogie woogie.

BROADWAY ON THE BEACH: Be transported back in time to the sounds of Gershwin, Rodgers and Hammerstein, Gilbert and Sullivan and Porter in this spectacular cabaret performance on the beach with The Queensland Session Orchestra, Joe Ruberto and Fem Belling in a journey through the golden age of musical film and theatre.

SALSA BY THE SEA: A salsa dance spectacular on the beach with Gustavo Cereijo’s 10-piece Cuban salsa band, Chukale teaming up with dance guru Israel Ortiz, The Brazilian Carnival Dancers, Latin Fire and The Reverend Jackson to light up the evening in song and dance. Also informal dance instruction by some of Australia’s greatest salsa and tango prodigies.

FLAMENCO FIRE: Be transported to the provinces of Spain with the song, dance and drama of Flamenco. Shenton Gregory, Simone Pope and Clara Domingo lead an all strings 14-piece ensemble directed by Andrew Veivers.

6. LIOR – AN INTIMATE PERFORMANCE
Singer-songwriter Lior’s intimate performance featuring a string quartet features songs from his five albums, including his much-loved classic This Old Love, and songs from his new album to be released next year.Lior burst on to the Australian music scene with his stunning debut album Autumn Flow, one of the most successful debut albums in Australian musical history.
